Ponta da Piedade... in "Sagres"

The "Bridge of Piety" is the Algarve's most visited rock formation, with a series of beautiful arches, stacks and grottoes, attracting boats from as far as Portimao. Fishing boats depart from the Forte da Ponte da Bandeira - the picturesque small fort on the corner of the seafront - for the short trip west, or you can drive here, park next to the lighthouse and walk down a series of steps to the crystal waters where boatmen are waiting to ferry you around.
