The villa is situated on the west side of Luz in the Ponta da Gaivota area, which stretches from the Luz to Burgau road down towards the sea. This spacious, contemporary property has large, well furnished rooms and wonderful sea views right across to the spectacular cliffs.
The upper floor has a spacious living/dining room with two large comfortable sofas, dining table and chairs, a wood burning fire and satellite TV. Patio doors lead out onto the terrace which has stunning views over Luz Bay. On the terrace there is a contemporary wooden table and chairs and comfortable wooden lounger. Whilst sitting having a meal at the table you can enjoy wonderful views of the sea and cliffs. There is also a large roof terrace with wonderful panoramic sea views. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with a hob, oven, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and table and chairs. There is also a cloakroom on this floor. The washing machine is located in a small room by the pool.
On the lower level, there are four bedrooms. The master room has a double bed with en suite bathroom with bath and separate shower. One of the twin rooms also an en suite bathroom with bath and shower. The third bedroom also has twin beds and the fourth bedroom has a single bed, these two bedrooms share a separate shower room. Two of the bedrooms open onto the private pool area and the others onto a delightful inner terrace. This property also has central heating.
There is a shower and barbeque located in the pool area. At the poolside there are comfortable loungers for relaxation and sunbathing and drinks tables. Ponta da Gaivota is a delightful villa and as an additional attraction within a few minutes walk there is a beautiful contemporary bar set around a decked pool. There are beautiful views of the sea from the decked area. There are internet facilities at the bar. The villa is a ten to fifteen walk to Praia da Luz town and beach where there are water sports, wonderful beach and many superb restaurants some located on the seafront. Burgau is close by and has lovely beach bars to enjoy fresh fish whilst sitting right by the sea. Lagos has some fantastic restaurants and bars both in the town, the marina and on the beach. There are several golf courses such as Parque da Floresta Golf and Leisure Resort and Boavista Golf Resort within a ten minute drive. Praia da Luz is also an excellent base from which to discover the rest of the beautiful Western Algarve; the choice of activities and places to visit and explore from this area are exceptional.
Children:
The villa is a wonderful place for both adults and children alike. The inner terrace is a perfect place for children to play as it is completely enclosed. There is also, of course, the private pool. At the villa there are buckets and spades, beach toys and even a large blow up dolphin for the pool! A travel cot is in the villa but should you want a big cot and highchair this can be supplied at a small cost. It is a short walk into Luz to the fantastic beach with swings and slides. There are so many lovely child friendly beaches within 10mins drive. Play on Burgau beach, or just lie on the sun loungers by the sea, and then have a snack or meal at the beach bar.
Lagos zoo is nearby and the water world is great fun.
